| Kelty
have been producing affordable and reliable equipment allowing anyone
to enjoy the outdoors since 1952. Currently there are many Kelty Tents on the
market for you to choose from, so here I am going to pick out four of
Kelty’s 3 man tents from the Apex and BackCountry ranges These two tents are from the Apex range of Kelty tents Marauder 3 You can brave the elements in this the strongest, most durable mountaineering tent in the Kelty range. It’s a lightweight freestanding design with Fusion welded seams. It consists of 5 poles of DAC Featherlite NSL, has 2 doors and 2 vestibules and is suitable for all 4 seasons providing shelter from the most extreme conditions Foxhole 3 This is another of the Kelty tents range with the fusion welded seams it is a tent for all conditions. It differs to the Maurader in that it is constructed with only 2 poles, but this gives it more space. It has a welded window and the integrated fly means its easy to set up and remains lightweight. The following two tents are from the Kelty tents Backcountry range Ouray 3 The Ouray is one of those Kelty tents which are very easy to pitch no matter what the weather, the set up being made even easier as a result of the DAC Jake's Foot stakeouts feature. The tent consists of 2 poles and 2 doors, is free – standing of clip construction and again has welded clear windows on the fly. The Oauray is a 3 season tent and provides ample room to move about and offers plenty of storage Gunnisson 3.1 The Gunnison 3.1 is the second tent in the Backcountry range. Again its a freestanding tent consisting of two poles. The colour coded clip construction together with the Jakes Foot stakeout makes it ideal for a quick set up. The spacious quarters give plenty of area to manoeuvre and the internal storage pockets provide ample storage space. |
